Breda is called "the city of the shoes". This is due to the large number of shoe shops that can be found there. The candies Mentos have been created in Breda.

For the cultural aspect, in Breda we can found two museums

The first one, more typical, is the "Museum of Breda". This place shows the history and the archeology of Breda, with a lot or art items. In this museum can be found, too, an exposition of Breda's crafts. It can be visited for a price of 5 euros.

The second one is the Museum Of The Image, called MOTI. It is the "leading authority on Visual Culture". In this place are presented a lot of different types images like design, photography, visual arts, architecture...

Moreover, it seems to have a lot of events which happen in the town. There is the carnival, the Breda Jazz Festival, the Redhead day... and some places to visit, like "The Grote of Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk" or "The Big Church", the castle of Breda...
